Afterhours: A Kid's Night in the Knob Noster State Park

Kids age 7-14 can enjoy a holiday movie, hot cocoa & popcorn, and create a craft - all while in their pajamas at the Knob Noster State Park Visitor Center! Parents are welcome to join, or can take this time to wrap up holiday shopping (or presents).

The program is free, but space is limited. Register from December 3rd - 17th by calling 660-563-2463.

Santa is coming to Warrensburg Main Street's annual Dickens Living Windows event. He will be located at the courthouse lawn for just a short period of time before he has to head to his next stop!! Be sure to bring the kids, the animals, the adults, all of the believers and come snuggle up to Santa for a holiday picture.

Dickens Christmas Living Windows event will begin at 10am that morning and last until 4pm, so make sure to take a stroll downtown before or after (or both!) visiting with Santa!

2nd Annual Holiday Parade

Get in the holiday spirit with the 2nd Annual Holiday Parade in downtown Warrensburg. The parade will begin at the UCM Multipurpose and then travel Holden Street to conclude at the courthouse square for the lighting of the Christmas tree and a visit from Santa.

You can come out to watch the parade, or better yet, participate! Parade applications are due by Monday, November 19th, to Dewayne Jackson at Jaeger Tire. All entrants must be illuminated. Download the application & guidelines from the Warrensburg Chamber website: www.warrensburg.org.

Cook up some fun with Warrensburg Parks & Rec and the MU Extension Nutrition Program! This FREE program will teach kids to prepare simple recipes and become more confident in the kitchen. Sessions are held weekly on Wednesday afternoons from October 24-December 5, at the ABC Building next to the Community Center. Two sessions to choose from per age group (see below).

Join us on Saturday, August 25, 2018, for a full day of family fun! We are celebrating the collective impact that happens when we come together as a community - and we need YOU!

The festivities begin at 7:30am with a 5k Walk/Run. Sign up with Warrensburg Parks and Rec at the community center or click here for online registration.

All other activities will take place from 10am-4pm. There will be games (provided by our outstanding community partner agencies!), food trucks, vendors, live music, local performances, and more!

Boys' Night Out is a night for men to help the community stand against domestic and sexual violence while having a night of Brews & BBQ including live music, food, live and silent auctions and relaxation. The evening features guest speaker Luke Lochiano, author of Fresh Hell, and live music by Manda Shea & The Sumpthin Bros.

Advance tickets are $30 and may be purchased at Muddy Creek BBQ, Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce, or Survival House Outreach Center (137 E Culton). All proceeds benefit Survival Adult Abuse Center.
